A football newspaper built around one fictional career
Nuovo Goat combines a deterministic simulation engine with the visual language of a sports newspaper and scouting dossier.
Why this project exists
Many career games demand long sessions, accounts or match-by-match control. Nuovo Goat focuses on the arc: create a player, read each season, make the important contract choice and reach retirement in minutes.
Original software and editorial design
The engine, Italian newspaper-inspired interface, copy and visual system were created for this project. Public products were studied only to understand common user expectations; their source, branding and assets were not copied.
Fictional football world
Clubs, competitions and ratings are invented. We do not ship official crests, kits, player photos or licensed databases, and we do not claim affiliation with any real football body.
Transparent limits
A simulator can contain errors, especially across long save histories. The method page explains the main variables and the contact page lists the useful details for a bug report without asking for personal data.
